Virtual and Augmented Reality

ВVirtual Reality (VR) creates a completely artificial environment that entirely separates the user from the real world. Users wear VR headsets that immerse them in a digital space filled with visual and auditory effects. Virtual reality can be used to create simulations and imitations of real or imaginary environments, such as games, training, virtual tours, and more. In VR, users can move around and interact with the virtual world, but they do not see or interact with the real world around them.

Augmented Reality (AR), on the other hand, adds digital elements to the real world while maintaining perception and interaction with the surrounding environment. Unlike VR, AR does not require complete isolation of the user from reality. Typically, AR applications run on smartphones, tablets, or AR glasses. AR can display additional information, objects, or graphics overlaid onto the real-world image for the user. Examples of AR usage include smartphone apps that allow users to see virtual objects or information displayed on the device screen using the camera.
