"NIKOLSKY" Mall. Geodetic Support of the Construction Details
Summary
- Nikolsky Mall is an exceptional retail and entertainment center located in the city of Kharkiv. With a total area of 105,000 square meters, it houses over 150 luxury boutiques. Its prime location in the historic part of the city at the intersection of Sumskaya and Pushkinskaya streets attracts locals. Since 2012, our team has provided comprehensive surveying support, including establishing control networks, monitoring retaining walls, setting out building axes, and modeling based on laser scanning. After the destruction of the mall during the early war period, ScanX conducted a geodetic survey.
- Objective The project aimed to scan the building, facades, and adjacent sidewalks of the Nikolsky Mall for spatial and geometric measurements.This was done to optimize the placement of advertisements, as well as the design and arrangement of the facades and sidewalks. The collected data was further utilized for the documentation and cataloging of these elements.
