Equipment:
Ground-based laser scanner RTC360 by Leica Geosystems.
Data Processing and Software:
Leica Cyclone software was used for processing the point cloud data.
For building the 3D model, Leica CloudWorx and Autodesk Revit were utilized.
Project Stages
In the first stage, laser scanning was conducted in a defined coordinate system. To obtain the point cloud of building facades and the surrounding area, 60 scanner station points were required, and it took approximately 5 hours. The data stitching error did not exceed 3 mm.
In the second stage, the point cloud was cleaned using Leica Cyclone software and loaded into Revit using the Leica CloudWorx add-on. Using the point cloud as a digital foundation, we completed the 3D model of the object.
