Libman's House Scanning in Odesa
Summary
- Libman's Profit House is an architectural monument in the Neo-Baroque style. The building was constructed in the late 19th century. In 2015, the Libman House was declared "unsuitable for sanitary and technical requirements and unfit for habitation" by the authorities. As a result, the shooting took place in rooms with destroyed walls, deteriorated ceilings, and presence of construction debris and furniture. The building lacked lighting, which made movement within the facility challenging, although it did not affect the device's operation. The absence of stairs on the staircase and the presence of debris posed further difficulties during the shoot. Despite these challenges, the obtained data adequately described the shooting location, except for specific areas where it was not possible to install the device or access was restricted.

The objective of the project was to create drawings of the object based on laser scanning data for the further development of documentation for repair and restoration works on the building.
Initial Data & Work Timeline:
- Scope of work for the project included external scanning of the building facades and internal scanning of five floors, basement, and attic.
